CCPHVAC - Keep Your Servers Cool

Keep Your Servers Cool

I’m sure you are aware, servers need to be cool and free from moisture. Even with good placing these vital pieces of equipment are still susceptible to high temperatures and moisture which can drastically affect their performance and shelf life.

The ideal temperature for your server room is between 18oc & 27oc with the relative humidity between 45 & 50%. You could look at this scenario as a ‘risk’ and it ‘may’ cost you to replace or repair servers, but you could be missing the more serious issue.

What do you keep on your server?

Your entire business, if catastrophic failure happens due to overheating or moisture ingress that could mean you lose all of your data for good! You may have backed up your data but whilst you wait for the I.T guy to fix the problem, you are going to be without all of that business information. Can you cope without your servers – even if only for an hour or two?

There is a simple solution to protect your business against this problem, it doesn’t have to cost the earth and it will help to prevent your servers from overheating or suffering damage from potential moisture in the air.

The Solution – Air Conditioning

Our service engineers will come to assess your offices to give you a clear and simple recommendation as to what you will required to cool the space. Part of the service will also be to train you on that equipment, so you can confidently operate it on a day to day basis

There are rumours associated with air conditioning with people believing it’s not effective and expensive to run. Not with the solutions we design and the equipment we supply. Our equipment is sleek, effective and extremely energy efficient.

What’s the alternative? have fans running all day and night, leave the door open, or simply not see it as a problem and hope that the equipment doesn’t overheat.

We are here for you. We have experience in this field and we have recently provided air conditioning for some of the largest names in the UK retail and commercial sector. The summer may be turning to autumn, but the risk from overheating will always be a massive risk to your company.  CALL TODAY and speak to our experience design team members.
